The I.E.N. company, specializing in improving companies’ operational performances, is joining June Partners.
June Partners, the operational financial consulting firm founded in December 2013 by an MBO operation by Duff & Phelps, has confirmed its ambitious growth plan and announces the acquisition of the I.E.N. company.
The advisory firm I.E.N. (Intervention Etude et Négociation) specializes in improving companies’ operational performance in the areas of finance, organization, industry, and social aspects.
Since its creation in 1995 by Xavier P. Négiar, I.E.N. has worked in a large number of situations and has honed its skill at rescuing companies in sectors as wide-ranging as heavy industry, printing, packaging, food and agriculture, electronics, pharmacy, insurance and construction.
The multidisciplinary team responds, sometimes appointed by board members, to validate strategic priorities and implement projects to enable company turnaround.
This acquisition is part of June Partners’ ambitious growth strategy; it aims to strengthen its expertise in all its areas of activity around build-up, cash, restructuring and finance.
June Partners had a very dynamic first year in 2014:
The firm participated in 109 missions in 2014 for some 50 clients, from various sectors including print media, industry and service.
Restructuring accounts for 40% of its total operations (apart from I.E.N.) including work in 2014 on projects for Eclair, Presstalis and The Phone House.
"The first year of June Partners’ existence showed how relevant our position is as a specialized player in operational consultancy. We had a very busy year working for our clients, and doing so in a wide variety of economic sectors and situations. With the I.E.N. acquisition, we are strengthening our ability to help improve companies’ operational performance. This work is, for June Partners, already a solid part of its work now, as well as a real opportunity for the future," according to Marc-Antoine Cabrelli, a partner at June Partners.
Xavier P. Négiar is also joining the leadership team at June Partners, which currently includes Marc-Antoine Cabrelli, Cyrille Breucq, Cédric Hetzel, Fabrice Keller, Frédéric Lumeau, Guillaume Masseron, and Frédéric Piolti.
The newly formed entity will have about 40 consultants, who will all have their physical office at the June Partners site, Square Edouard VII beginning on Monday, January 26.
